2. Overview

Am I Senior? is a professional skills assessment website. We designed the service to avoid user accounts, analytics, advertising trackers, marketing cookies, and server-side storage of quiz answers.

3. Personal Data We Process

Quiz answers: Stored only in your browser's temporary JavaScript memory while you take a quiz.
Quiz results: Calculated in your browser and encrypted by our server into an opaque shareable result token only after you finish a quiz.
Anonymous aggregate statistics: When a quiz is completed, we count the date, profession, level, and score buckets. We do not store IP address, user agent, exact timestamp, answers, result token, or any user identifier with these statistics.
Server access logs: Our web server and Cloudflare may process IP address, timestamp, requested path, user agent, referrer, and security metadata to deliver and protect the site.

4. Purposes and Legal Bases

Providing the quiz: Processing is necessary to provide the service you request.
Generating encrypted shareable results: Processing happens only when you complete the quiz and requires temporary server-side encryption/decryption of the result payload.
Anonymous product statistics: We use aggregate counters to understand which tests are used and how score distributions look, without identifying individual visitors.
Security, abuse prevention, and site delivery: Legitimate interest in operating a secure and reliable website.

5. Storage and Retention

Quiz answers: Deleted when you refresh, close the tab, navigate away, or finish the session.
Result links: Stored only if you copy, bookmark, or share them. The link contains an encrypted token in the URL fragment after #, which is not sent to our server in the initial page request. When a result page loads, your browser sends the token to our API so it can be decrypted temporarily and displayed; the decrypted result is not stored.
Anonymous aggregate statistics: Stored as daily bucketed counters with no direct or indirect user identifier.
Apache logs: Retained for operational security for up to 14 days unless longer retention is required to investigate abuse or legal claims.
Cloudflare logs: Retained according to Cloudflare's applicable service settings and privacy terms.

6. Recipients and Processors

We do not sell personal data. We do not use analytics or advertising services.

Cloudflare: Used for secure tunneling, performance, and protection against abuse.
Hosting/server infrastructure: Used to serve the static website and maintain operational logs.

7. International Transfers

Cloudflare and infrastructure providers may process data outside your country or the European Economic Area. Where required, these providers rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses or equivalent mechanisms.

8. Your Rights

Subject to GDPR conditions, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, or object to processing. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority.

Because quiz answers are not stored on our servers, most data requests will result in confirmation that we do not hold quiz-answer records for you.

9. Children's Privacy

This service is intended for professional users and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy when the service or legal requirements change. The latest version will always be posted on this page.
